We are 11 talented mosaic artists from Greece and the UK, who are collaborating together to create an amazing festival of mosaics. The festival will be taking place during the Summer of 2016 in London, Athens and Mykonos.
Dates: July 19th - July 23rd 2016: Hellenic Centre, London Free entry. Opening times: Tuesday to Friday 10am- 5pm, Saturday 11am - 4pm. Meet the artists: Tuesday 19 July, 6.30pm-8.30pm. September 9th - September 18th 2016: Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, Athens September 23rd - September 30th 2016: Municipal Art Gallery, Mykonos Our first exhibition ran for a week at the Hellenic Centre in London from Tuesday July 19th, finishing on Saturday July 23rd. Our thanks go to the artists involved, the Hellenic Centre for hosting the exhibition and our sponsors and supporters for helping to make the event such as success. The festival is now due to move to Athens with an exhibition at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation from September 9th to September 18th. Our final exhibition will be at the Muncipal Art Gallery of Mykonos, starting 23rd September and finishing 30th September. Each mosaic maker is exhibiting new mosaic work inspired by their own personal interpretation of the theme Mosaic Odysseys. Please come join us on our Mosaic Journey! |
